This upcoming exhibition is more than a celebration and the expression of our admiration for the extraordinary person of the Czech neurosurgeon, Professor Vladimír Beneš. We aim to reveal this remarkable man’s passion for entomology and collecting.

The Museum’s rooms will remain temporarily closed until September, but we are using our outdoor areas to present works from our collection.

We are currently working on organizing our depository, putting together the Museum Montanelli collection catalogue, and most importantly, preparing our next exhibition, one we have already announced.

The Book National Theatre Foyer


The book presents the works of art that are to be found in the historical building of the National Theatre in Prague. In it you will find chapters dedicated to the history and restoration of the pictures hanging on the walls of the foyer of the theatre. The book contains a rich array of photographs and comes complete with a DVD containing conversations with the personalities involved in the restoration of the foyer.
