Movies projections on the occasion of what would have been the 80th birthday of Václav Havel

4/10/2016 – 9/10/2016

“Hope is definitely not the same as optimism. It´s not the conviction that something will turn out well, but the certainity, that something makes sence, regardless of how it turns out.”

Václav Havel

In honor of Václav Havel, Museum Montanelli will be commemorating the events of 1989.

All this week will be dedicated to what would have been his 80th birthday. As part of HAVEL@80, we will be showing excerpts from documentary films from the era in which we lived.

On Thursday 6 October at 5pm, you are also cordially invited to a guided tour of Václav Bláha’s exhibition in the company of the artist himself.
